Volunteer Opportunities with Orant Charities

Orant Charities is an internationally recognized nonprofit organization, operating in Malawi, Africa. We provide solutions to life’s hardships in rural Africa, including clean water access, medical treatment, and food for families.

Our fundraising operations are based in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, USA. From here, we host events, collaborate with community partners, and raise awareness of our mission in Malawi.

Your assistance is crucial to the success of our work. As a volunteer, you provide a voice for our mission in areas where we might not otherwise reach. Your help, whether as an event volunteer or community liaison, is part of what will make us successful.

Throughout the year, we have many opportunities to volunteer: our annual Mudzi Gala at Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas, Texas; smaller fundraising events throughout the year such as lemonade stands, Christmas markets, and hosted give-back events; and being a spokesperson for Orant in the community. Your participation in these helps bring information about our mission to the public, as well as providing financial support for our programs.

Our past volunteers have expressed what a difference they feel after volunteering, including Emily Salter, who has volunteered at several Orant events. Emily states, “Working with Orant Charities has given me something to look forward to, and I love being able to give back to the community. It’s fun for me, as well!”
