David is the Executive Director of Orant Charities and is responsible for oversight of the implementation of our programs and for management of the US based organization. David came to Orant in November 2015 after a 10-year career in government in Washington, DC.
David has previously worked on the staffs of Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison and Governor Rick Perry and was appointed to serve in the Administration of President George W. Bush. Prior to coming to Orant, David served for five years as a Legislative Affairs Advisor at the Department of Agriculture. David earned his bachelor's degree in Political Science from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas and has a Master of Business Administration from George Mason University in Virginia.
David's passion for those in need developed through years of personal travel to developing countries around the world. He has volunteered with ministries and charities in several countries and understands first-hand the ability of well-run non-profits to make significant impacts in the lives of those they serve.
He lives in McKinney, Texas with his wife Barbara and their dogs Tito and Blanche.
Anna L. Urban, MPA, MPP, MAIS
Anna has an extensive track record of success in the field of fundraising. Her background includes experience in building a development department from the ground up, successful grant writing and reporting, special event planning, website analysis and design, staff and board reporting, and producing successful marketing materials. Anna joins Orant Charities after 9 years in fundraising for two educational organizations, Oak Hill Academy and Educational First Steps.
After two years in the Peace Corps, serving in the Kingdom of Tonga, Anna earned three Masters degrees in Public Affairs, Public Policy, and Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas. While in the Peace Corps, Anna taught English, Geography and Math, and was instrumental in the building of a new library on the school campus and a new computer lab in a neighboring village. She holds a Bachelors degree in Sociology with a minor in Gerontology from the University of North Texas. Anna is also the co-owner of Fatty Dog Properties, LLC.
When not working to raise money for non-profits, Anna enjoys traveling to new places near and far, and has visited over 20 countries. She also likes to spend time with family and friends, try new restaurants, grilling, cooking and most of all eating.

Chris Guidry has over 25 years of experience in public safety as a firefighter/paramedic in a major urban city. He has had various training and certifications in his career including technical search specialist, mass casualty response, high angle rope rescue, call center management, and currently holds the rank of Captain.
In addition to his fire career, Chris has over 15 years of experience leading medical trips to Guatemala and Malawi. As a team leader on mission trips, he has facilitated program development, pharmacy management, and logistics. He currently serves as a Water committee member as well as President of the Board.
Chris was raised in Dallas and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1989 from the University of Dallas, a small Catholic liberal arts university. He enjoys music, plays guitar, and sings in the church choir. He has been married to Amy for 27 years and has raised 3 children, all of whom make him proud.

Michael Tenny has advanced knowledge in direct marketing, fund raising, management, operations, entrepreneurial start-ups, and surplus goods procurement. His management experience includes call centers, warehouses, and mid-size companies. He has business skills in financial management, business reporting, banking relations, and directing staff. His operational skills include facility design and layout, material handling, shipping, construction and developing site plans. Michael has been self-employed and has run private companies that vary from five to 200 employees. Michael is an expert at developing goals, decision making and small group dynamics.
Michael is a co-founder of Orant Charities and travels regularly to lead teams to Malawi. Michael enjoys camping and hiking. He has a keen sense for wilderness survival, advanced first aid and emergency preparedness. Michael is also an Eagle Scout..

Seth has been actively volunteering in mission and outreach work since the early 90’s traveling to Asia, Africa and South America. In this capacity, Seth has developed international development programs, managed travel logistics, repaired water wells, and led teams to various parts of the world to serve and create awareness of the needs that exist. Seth, along with Michael Tenny, co-founded Orant Charities in 2006.
Seth graduated from the University of North Texas in 1993 with a BA specializing in International Business, Third World Politics, and Biology. Seth also spent time studying abroad at the University of Northumbria specializing in International Business and Marketing.

Scott Beathard has over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience in the laser, GPS, and machine control industry. He has extensive knowledge of marketing, sales, engineering, and product management and manufacturing. Scott has personally started four companies, sold two, and still operates two companies. Over the past ten years, Scott has amassed significant merger and acquisition experience having acquired or merged with 18 companies. Currently, Scott is President and CEO of GeoShack North America, Inc., the largest reseller of GPS based positioning and grade control solutions in North America to the construction, surveying, agricultural, landfill, mining and governmental markets. Scott is an active real estate investor and property manager.
Scott graduated in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Engineering from The Ohio State University. He is married to his wife Christi and together they have two daughters, Jill and Andrea. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing and traveling.
Scott is a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He has been active in mission work since 2005 in Central America and Africa. Scott joined Orant Charities in 2008 and has travelled to Mozambique and Malawi to serve in various capacities there. He is currently chair of the Medical Committee and also serves on the Operating Board of Orant Charities.

Tom grew up in a small farming community in upstate New York, but he
moved to Texas as soon as he could. He holds a degree in Construction
Management from Wentworth Institute, Boston, MA, and a BA from the
University of Texas, Austin (UT). He started his working life as a journeyman carpenter and later become a private contractor, launching several small companies. He joined the nascent construction and agricultural laser business in 1982 and has enjoyed an exciting career promoting those technologies in North America and Australasia ever since. He is one of the founders of GeoShack, NA, and a current Vice President.
Tom is an active parishioner at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, and a
supporter of Covenant House. When not working, you will find him fishing,
painting, and working on an old '68 Datsun convertible.
Happily married to his wife, Susan, for 35 years, they have two wonderful
sons, one of whom has joined Tom for two life-changing Orant trips to Malawi. He looks forward to continued work with this remarkable organization.

William (Bill) Dendy JD, MBA, CPA, PFS, CFP®, CLU, is President of Elite Financial Management and has over 26 years of professional experience in investments and financial planning in Dallas.
Bill is a dedicated Rotarian and has traveled all over the world conducting service projects and missions. In 2016-2017 Bill served as Governor of Rotary District 5810. In this capacity he traveled to Malawi, Cuba, Mexico and the Caribbean conducting service projects. Bill became involved with Orant through Rotary and is passionate about educating girls in Malawi and repairing water wells. Last year Bill was honored as the district’s Rotarian of the Year.

Audra Keaton has over 10 years experience in the healthcare industry. Her skills include: project management, information technology consulting, health information exchange solutions, proposal management and revenue cycle operations. Audra is an expert in Organizational Change Management and has spent the past five years helping over 75 hospitals transition their people to new technology.
Mrs. Keaton graduated from the University of North Texas in 2005 with a BBA in Financial Services. Having worked at a pediatric office through college, she sought to shift her career path from Finance to Healthcare. In 2006 she enrolled at The University of North Texas Health Science Center and graduated in 2007 with a Master’s of Public Health (MPH) concentrating in Epidemiology. During this time, she embarked on her first mission trip with Orant. Since then, she has taken several trips to Cambodia and Malawi. Audra is also on the board of Orant Charities – Africa where she will work with hospital staff to streamline hospital operations and build training programs.
Audra moved back to Denton (after swearing she wouldn’t) when she met her husband, Chad and now they reside there with their two awesome boys and abnormally huge dog, Reznor. She and her husband are active members at Journey Church where they also serve as the college leaders for local UNT and TWU students. Audra enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, serving and analyzing data. Audra has a passion for children and her dream is for every child to be able to go to bed at night without being hungry, scared or cold.
